ART STORY TIME TURTLE 2.0 (2015)

The first TIME TURTLE was created in the early period, around 2009, when I started with digital collage. It was made with less digital layers, about 20-25 then compared with 150-200 now. I decided to update the original into a version which is more synchronized with my current vision about the layers of time.

Here on the left side you see you original TIME TURTLE (2009). It is one of the first digital collage artworks I made and it shows you the contradiction between a slow turtle and the speed of flying through time. The story stays the same but the artwork has transform into a colorful expression of time. Enjoy the story and artwork!

We all do like to move forward, standing still is like going backwards. When we move into a different direction, way of living/ being, we will notice that sometimes we have to leave behind some things, people or habits to change into to the new.

The micro world on the back of the turtle implicates that how difficult some situations may look like, the world will just keep going forward

Big things and small things happen simultaneous. We cannot ignore the small things while looking to the bigger picture and so we cannot ignore the bigger things while focused on the details of our lives.
